Well I have been meaning to write a new post for a bit but every idea was something to bitch about. And today I was just gonna ramble about various stuff but now I have something to bitch about still!!
Blogger is killing the ability to FTP files to your own domain.
I have had a blog with Blogger since July 2000 and in all that time I have always hosted it at my own site (in the old days thats all you could do - they didnt have Blogspot back then).
This is total bollocks. I dont WANT my files hosted by Blogger/Google (the only option they give you - whether it be a custom domain on your site that redirects peeps to Blogger for your blogs or a Blogspot URL - BLARGH!!).

So i guess i am gonna have to finally get off my arse and figure out one of the other blogging tools that are hosted on your own site. Can someone do it for me and figure out how to make my layout work with it too? AND import all my old blog posts.....DAGNABIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know any more about Dale Begg-Smith than you guys but the way he was talking after he won the silver was EXACTLY how he spoke when he won gold at the last olympics. SO he's not super chatty, he doesnt go in for the excessive wankery you guys seem to love and which makes me sick and HATE to watch sports shows or the sports segments in news. Leave the guy alone already. he got a fricking medal! A silver! HAVE YOU GOT A FUCKING OLYMPIC MEDAL ARSEHOLES????????????

I also cant stand channel 9s olympic coverage shit at night. i LOATHE Eddie MacGuire and they way he goes on about crap. gawd i wanna slap him. i avoid watching channel 9 as much as possible but if i wanna see some olympic stuff i HAVE to watch. is a cruel fate! i dont wanna spend hours streaming stuff off the internet. but maybe i should just to stick it to Nine. :D

And so I have been youtubering again (seriously - its a verb!) and just looking at random stuff.

I like Muses music but I havent been 'zomgawd love them must KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM AND READ/SEE EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW' as you do...or I do at times (haha), but I've been checking out stuff a bit more about them and paying more attention to their posts on Twitter and stuff.
Seriously, up until last week I had only ever seen the music video for Uprising and the live vid of Supermassive Black Hole on the Twilight dvd. O.o

Anyways so I was just looking at goofy stuff on youtube and I got to see the whole clip of when Muse performed on some italian show last year where they were told they HAD to lipsync. gawd it cracked me up. I saw a snippet of it on some interview last week but its hysterical watching the whole thing. Dom can barely keep a straight face and Matt is just goofing off on the drums. Brill!


And I dont know how old this one is but taking the piss out of Slipknot....and Matt just losing it.

In other news, it seems people arent excited by the iPad eh? I don even have an iPhone or iTouch yet so I am not even with the cool people. my lil ipod keeps me content enough...though i have seen a few apps i would love to play with on my friends iPhones. wenches!!!!!!!!!!

I probably should have posted this a few days ago or even last weekend but the dramas with my PC meant I had to load the pics to mums computer, then upload them to facebook and then come over and save them again on the mac in PNG format so i could upload them to this blog (for some reason whenever I try to upload a pic to this blog it doesnt work unless the images are in PNG format).

But YAY! Last Saturday I went to the second Big Day Out show here in Sydney. Muse was the only act I really wanted to see and the two other acts I was vaguely interested in seeing - we got in a bit late so I missed the first one, and then the other one where they were playing there was almost zero shade and it got to 42 degrees on Saturday so after waiting for a bit for them to start (in that time I went and got my water bottle refilled and i swear ten mins later the water inside was HOT) my friends and I had walked around for about 40 mins maybe an hour before we gave up and headed to the stands in the main arena area to await Muse.

Muse's setlist (thanks Facebook - though initially when they posted it they had the wrong set coz it had Resistance and the DID not play Resistance. I would have geeked out MASSIVELY if they did as its my fave song by them atm):

Anyways so I took some pics but I had borrowed mums camera coz mine is kinda bulky and didnt want to carry it into the mosh for Muse....but she has her settings really low so she can take MILLIONS of pics but the quality is shite. Gawd i was annoyed when i realised! But here you go. I have a lot more pics of me and my friends just vegging out all day on Facebook but its not that interesting so I am sharing the 'best' Muse shots.

Even with the noise and heat, there were plenty of acts we werent into so we were all dozing at some point....eek! Sorry bands!

MONKEY CRACK!!!!! Thats what this game is!! I got Style Boutique for the DS on Tuesday and by last night I had already reached what is supposed to be the end point in the game - I'd won all the in game contests. Oops. So now its all about making LOADS of money for my store and aiming to own every piece of clothing/make up/etc in my wardrobe. hmm......

The idea of the game is you run a lil Boutique and you have to go and buy the clothes you stock in your shop and then cute lil anime-looking girls who have different styles come in and you gotta make 'em happy to make a sale. If you do REALLY good they even do a anime-style magical-girl-transformation sequence! LIKE WOAH!! Its got a certain market alright! BUT I LOVE IT!
You can also waste quality time dressing up your character. Every piece of clothing you buy to stock your store also appears in your own wardrobe (so I have an alarming number of EGL, punk and just GREEN stuff in my wardrobe). You can also get the characters hair cut in different styles, with interesting colours. My girl had green hair with gold streaks for a while but now its strawberry blonde with some other coloured streak.
So as your store level goes up you can enter these contests and as I said, I finished all the contests in 3 days. It probably would have been sooner but i failed the 'punk chic' one the first time. I know how that look SHOULD look but they wanted punk mixed with annoying flowery shite so i failed it the first time around and if you fail a contest you have to wait a day to do it again.

Now whats bugging me is I cant find anything that explains if the Dominic dude (he is the one who funds your store when it starts) is meant to just be some cute boy character for the young girly players to sigh over or if he asks your character out on a date at some point. Does ANYONE know???? His butler hs been ACTING like he wants to set him up but I dunno. Would be amusing.

Dude this vid shows you almost everything you do in the game! Imma stop explaining and let them do it!

Anyhoo - I think in the US its called Style Savvy.

But yeah, popsicle gave me his DS but i think I am still gonna have to buy my own coz this annoying white bar appears on the top screen and covers over important stuff in game which is annoying me. One of my uncles was out from England earlier this week and decided to spoil my bro, sis and me a bit. Now I already had this item at the top of my list of things to buy next payday but now I dont have to coz my uncle got it for me instead!!! ZOMGAWD HAPPEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mental age is SO not 32 people. :D

WAh! My computer is broken! I think its something to do with the power source doohickey coz it will turn on for 2-3 seconds then die. So GAH!! How will i get ep 8 of Spooks? Other computers in this house do not have all the new fangled stuff on it that i do that lets me get things and others wont appreciate me installing proggies just so i can perv....which I think is highly unfair but thems the facts.
Anyhoo - so right now I am using the parentals shiny Mac...this thing has a massive screen...i wanna see that lovely face plastered across it man! :D
