I’m frustrated that the mainstream media is covering this story like it’s any comeback story, like an exiled prince’s return to a former glory, like this is another political timeline — as though some rich and powerful old white men in the music business have not just issued an enormous ‘f**k you’ to every woman who has been, is or will be on the receiving end of domestic violence.

We should be furious.

I’ve said it many times and I am sure I will say it again in the future – but can you please fuck off!

I dont know any more about Dale Begg-Smith than you guys but the way he was talking after he won the silver was EXACTLY how he spoke when he won gold at the last olympics. SO he’s not super chatty, he doesnt go in for the excessive wankery you guys seem to love and which makes me sick and HATE to watch sports shows or the sports segments in news. Leave the guy alone already. he got a fricking medal! A silver! HAVE YOU GOT A FUCKING OLYMPIC MEDAL ARSEHOLES????????????

I also cant stand channel 9s olympic coverage shit at night. i LOATHE Eddie MacGuire and they way he goes on about crap. gawd i wanna slap him. i avoid watching channel 9 as much as possible but if i wanna see some olympic stuff i HAVE to watch. is a cruel fate! i dont wanna spend hours streaming stuff off the internet. but maybe i should just to stick it to Nine. :D

Decided to read this article after seeing the headline Smoke billows out over Sydney city centre coz YAY the city is burning to the ground!! (NOT) as long as it doesnta ffect the train line i care not. ANYWAYS so this article which MAY get edited between now and when anyone bothers to click te link says the following “Westfield have yet to comment on the fire or its possible cause. ” BUT further up in the story it has already EXPLAINED what happned. Why do the building owners need to explain something you already know wankers????????????

I also love how smack dab in the middle it has a box saying “Do you know more? Email us at news@news.com.au with reports, tip-offs, and pictures or SMS to 0429 300 245 ” – i see that shit on new sites or news shows and i just wanna yell ‘do you’re own work morons!!!!!!!!! like i am gonna help you! i got something news worthy i will blog that shit myself!’ :D

The bear wandered into Whistler’s Village Square, a popular site for tourists and locals, to look for food in garbage tins on Saturday.

“A crowd had gathered around the bear and was taking pictures,” Sylvia Dolson, of the Get Bear Smart Society, told Vancouver’s The Province newspaper.

“The fellow was in the way when the bear wanted to escape.

“He kind of got snagged.”

They actually killed the bear in question. Ummm…..riiiiiight.

I’d just like to say to Canada if I get scratched up by a bear because I am a dumb arse please dont kill mr bear. kthxbai!

Smart thinking 99!

Omgawd the people running our state are on crack. Not only do they want to increase train fares astronomically, they want to stop manning stations AND get rid of guards on most of the fucking trains. Just read this shit!
Do they KNOW how many looneys travel on CityRail???? I have never had to ask for help but I tell you – travelling for over an hour late at night on the train with a bunch of fricking nutters, or drunken loons, or just generally creepy guys who give off a seriously dodgy vibe….you have at least a small sense of security even if you arent in the same carriage as the guards.
Hell – even getting the train home during peak hour the loonies are about – the other day my train was almost empty by Emu Plains but had to still chug up the hill to Springwood….anyways first off this chick started cackling so loud i could hear her over my ipod. and she went on and on for at least 2 stops….and then she started going ‘cooooo coooo’ all the way to fricking springwood – i am NOT kidding. I seriously wanted to shout out ‘shut the fuck up!’ but then i thought ‘what if she is a real crazy person – she might flip out and stab me or something!’ so i just turned my music up louder and tried to ignore….as the train approached my station I got up to walk through the carriages so i was closer to the stairs on the platform and the woman stopped her cooing for like 2 seconds when she saw me and then started agaiN! CRAZY PEOPLE – and it was only 7pm! and you wanna get RID OF THE GUARDS!???????!!!! die you bastards!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously – heres a way to cut the states budget – all members of parliament do not get driven around, or given a car or whatever – they MUST use public transport to get around……then we will see how much the feel tempted to slash the spending on public transport. fuckers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Sydney – where cruelty to dogs is okay it seems

Sydney is in fine form this week…
Yesterday the RSPCA found a dead dog hanging from a tree in Mount Druit, and another dog was found badly burnt and it had to be put down, and it looks like it was probably intentionally set on fire. Thats some fucked up shit right there!

Doesnt help the pup was in here begging for some food with those ‘but i am STARVING!!!! and you love me dont you????’ eyes just five mins ago. If anyone did that to my dog I would fricking kill them!

So i lied

This is a short post to bitch how my layout gets fubared everytime I use a picture bigger than normal width of the blog area. I cant be arsed messing with the style sheet to fix it right now. But damn it makes me cranky when my sidebar goes for a walk to the bottom of the damn page!

Anyways I am catching up on Plastic!Winchester Theatre. since i have been avoiding lj i have missed a bunch of eps from the end of season 3!

5 mins in the office and i wanted to stab someone. lovely

sometimes the system we use at work is glitchy and does mental things.
it will make a claim for things it shouldnt, or not do a claim SOON enough….and there are times wheen there is simply no reason for it to do that. its enough to make a person pull theor hair out.
now i am the expert in our office and i can usually figure out a reason for whats happened but there are times i can not comprehend it at all so i will email our IHQ in the US to see if they can have a look and spot why its acting up just so i can advise the CSRs so they can explain to their clients.
so this morning i get in…and i must be PMSing because i was ready to punch the monitor when i read it, this stupid cow from the US replies:

Hey Brainstrust – i have worked in this company for over 7 and a half years and been using this frakking sytem for 5 of them – i know how the god damn claiming sytem works normally! But it FAILED THIS TIME because the OTHER client who gets it got their issue in Feb and the system didnt claim for the client i am enquiring about till june! check your info before you start with me wench! OMGAWD DIE!!!

damn – its a slippery slope….i post once from work for the first time in YEARS and here i am doing it again!
