Have been cruelly deprived of the computer since Friday. Men are wretched, wretched beasts. And I dont know how long I will be staying on here now – so here is a quick bit of bloggyness.

from /usr/bin/girl:
gothik girls – parody of the powerpuff girls, very cute
Downright, frigging nasty – poor guy!

Anyways. I went and saw Any Given Sunday last night with my brother. Although the main characters in it all improved a little by the end of the film, if I met any of those people in real life I would find them totally repugnant. And not just because they are people in sport and sport is one of my biggest dislikes. 🙂
Anyways, when I go to the movies, if I want a drink I usually buy a large coke from Macca’s and take that in with me. Well when we got their last night it was 9pm so the Maccas near the cinema was closed. So brother wanted a large popcorn and coke. And here illustrates the reason why I dont buy drinks and popcorn when I go to the movies – for a large popcorn and coke: $9 something – okay so forgot the last bit……my brain is still reeling from the $9 bit. If we had gone earlier in the evening I could have bought a large coke from Maccas for $1.65 (I think – has gone up since GST – used to be $1.50) and buy a Cheeseburger for $1.65, hid it in my bag as we went in (damn that pesky ‘no hot food’ rule) and ate it once the lights went out. I would have enjoyed it more and saved a heap of money.

FF8 news – finished disk 2 last night – finally – it took me at least 5 goes each (probably more) to defeat Ceberus and Edea. Pesky things. So now I have Squall and a few comrades just trotting around the countryside trying to increase their levels and stuff before I go track down Ellone. Once more – if you haven’t played FF8 – just ignore this entire paragraph! 🙂

Anyways. This paragraph is about me pondering why the hell I always either start or end a paragraph with anyways. Other people try to stop smoking or drinking alcohol, I have tried many, many times since Year 8 to stop using the word anyways. I just can’t do it. So don’t be afraid when I use it again and again and again. It’s an evil affliction I can not overcome. Forgive me.
