At work today for a lil while I was being naughty procrastinating reading headlines on Google News. I saw this headline Coren humiliated by bosses.
Basically the dudes from The Chasers War on Everything did some stunt involving the current host of Today Tonight – Anna Coren. Channel Seven went all mental and went to court to stop them from airing it. And one of the points that helped them win was saying ‘Coren’s involvement as a “performer” meant the ABC would be breaking copyright laws if they reproduced her image without her employer’s consent.’
Hahahaa – thats so damn funny. No one has ANY respect for the people who host Today Tonight – the last host Naomi Robson was an obnoxious bitch who played at being sympathetic but no one believed a word of. I actually didnt mind Anna Coren as a news correspondent but taking that job I was all ‘urgh – they are going to turn her into a Naomi Robson clone!’
I only just recently started watching The Chaser. I saw a rerun of an old episode and it was bloody brilliant so now I wanna see more. 😀
