I visit this site at least once a month hoping there are some new pics. Michael Whelan, for many years, painted covers for sci fi, fantasy and horror books. In more recent years he has been doing his own art, but all of it is gorgeous. On this site you can check out jpg’s of almost all his paintings and save them to your computer – and they arent tiny pics either – some are quite large. I get so excited when I go into bookstores and see his art on things – and I can even spot a Michael Whelan picture even if I have never seen it before. hehehe
