Yesterday I bought the Joan of Arc (aka The Messenger) and Twin Peaks soundtracks from Red Eye Records (fave record store) yesterday.
The Twin Peaks one I have wanted for years and just never got around to buying it – a friend in high school taped it onto cassette for me once and I just loved it but then I taped over it for some reason. My fave track is Laura Palmers theme.
And the Joanie soundtrack – well when the film was released in oz I saw it in HMV but I couldn’t afford it at the time. Next time I went in there it had sold out and then I just kept forgetting to get it. So when i was in Red Eye yesterday at lunch I just looked through all the soundtracks they had and I suddenly went WOAH! and grabbed it! 🙂
Of course i was in there looking for something completely different which I then couldn’t get.
Yes, I am sad and pathetic – I have said this before!
