The Foot Saga continues

Well I am out of the cast now and both the doctor and physio have said i can walk on it.
When I saw the physio she was suprised how much I could already do with my ankle (if you have never had your foot stuck in a cast for weeks your muscles and tendons all tend to atrophy a bit so you have to get them used to walking and other normal movement again).
When I was there I could walk with one crutch with very little pain but when she asked me to walk with none both my heel and all around my ankle – it was very painful. I have a spur on my heel so thats a big part of the problem – getting used to the achilles tendon stretching over it again (HURTS!). So she said just stick with one crutch for now and do a bunch of stretches she recommended and by the time I see her again I will probably be on one.

WELL!
After we left mum had to go down to Penrith and she took me with her. She got me to go walking with her part of the way to the shop she was going to. I went about 100 metres before I gave up and sat down. I then had to walk back to the car. All this was with one crutch. Anyways that night when I tried to walk with just one crutch it hurt as bad as when I walked with none at the physio. T.T

So the most pain free way to walk atm is with two crutches.

It was a bit achey yesterday too but its okay today. But I certainly cant do the walk to work from North Sydney station yet. Its just too far.

I am soooo bored here at home.
