\nPictures’ and Village Roadshow Pictures’ big screen adaptation of Anne
\nRice’s best-selling novel, “Queen Of the Damned,” starring
\nPlatinum-selling musical artist and actress Aaliyah in the title role,
\nand Stuart Townsend (“Wonderland”) as Lestat.<\/p>\n
\nlegendary vampire Lestat (Townsend), who has re-invented himself as a
\nrock star in the contemporary American music scene. His music wakes
\nAkasha (Aaliyah), the queen of all vampires, and inspires her to want to
\nmake Lestat her king. Akasha’s malevolent power is so great that all the
\nimmortal vampires must stand against her if they want to survive.
\nMeanwhile a young London woman, Jesse (Marguerite Moreau), with a
