Because of slackery on my part there is only one measly post on here so far mentioning my love of the comic Check Please<\/a>…..dont let the lack of posts fool you – if you hung out at my tumblr you would understand just how enamoured I am. I absolutely love it!!!!<\/p>\n

I just missed out on backing Ngozi Ukazu’s first kickstarter but I have backed the 2nd and third. The kickstarters were to allow Ngozi, the author, to self publish comics of each year of the comic (there will be 4 years in total – reflecting the main character Bitty’s college experience).<\/p>\n

So I already have the self published books – both paperback and hardback of year 1 and 2, and will also be getting a hardback of year 3 when that fulfilment happens. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

Anyways so it was announced an actual publisher wanted to work with Ngozi to do an official book which is fricking awesome. I am so glad for her – she has worked so hard creating this amazing comic but also working hard to create a community around CP.<\/p>\n

I had originally placed a preorder for this on Book Depository but for some reason they refunded me so I ended up having to choose some other option to get this book.
\nI really wanted the hardback but all aussie online retailers said I would have to wait weeks to get the hardback so on release day I called Kinokuniya while I was at work and asked if they had any of the paperbacks in stock and they did! They put one aside for me and it was my half day so I left work and immediately marched to Kino to get it!!!<\/p>\n

The book covers years one and two, which i didnt realise so I literally squarked when I saw THE KISS at the end………I died when i first saw that update online – guys you dont even know!!!!!!<\/p>\n

Anyways – so ANOTHER book of this awesome comic to add to my shelves. haha!<\/p>\n
