{"id":375,"date":"2000-07-29T04:06:00","date_gmt":"2000-07-28T17:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/galacticmuffin.net\/day17\/?p=375"},"modified":"2013-05-19T00:40:39","modified_gmt":"2013-05-18T13:40:39","slug":"375","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.galacticmuffin.net\/day17\/2000\/07\/375\/","title":{"rendered":"Merrick and Rosso live"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday afternoon I went and saw <a href=\"http:\/\/triplej.abc.net.au\/merrickandrosso\/\">Merrick and Rosso<\/a> doing their broadcast at the Horden Pavillion.<br \/>\n It was fun &#8211; I went by myself so I didnt go have one of those run around a be an idiot and &#8216;ooh I feel trendy and hip today&#8217; moments like I used to have in high school when I went to things like the <b>Big Day Out<\/b> or went to gigs of local bands (&#8230;.oooh the mighty days of the Ghoulstones! hahahaha!!!! private joke there &#8211; dont be scared!).<br \/>\nI knew what Merrick and Rosso looked like and I knew what Adam Spencer from the <a href=\"http:\/\/triplej.abc.net.au\/breakfast\/default.htm\">Breakfast Show<\/a> and The Sandman all looked like but everyone else I had no idea. Its weird how you can have an image of a person in your head because of their voice and many times they just do NOT live up to it! LOL!!!<\/p>\n<p>But it was a groovy arvo. Spent quite a lot of cash on taxis though!<\/p>\n<p>Anyways &#8211; when I got home I spent the better part of 6 hours renovating my Buffy website &#8211; I am not gonna post the URL yet on here because the renovation hasn&#8217;t been uploaded yet. But yes &#8211; I wasted a few hours battling the evil computer to get the main layout done. For some reason my computer regularly disagrees with me and Photoshop! But I beat the evil thing tonight!
