So…..yes – I am a huge fan of Sherlock.<\/p>\n

I did think I should write some kind of sensible serious post about it….but we all know that isnt me. I am about to have a Sherlock inspired fangasm all over my blog.<\/p>\n

So – I planned to watch it when the first season aired in oz – but the night of the first episode I forgot to watch it and only caught the end. Luckily Channel 9 decided to do one of those encore screening things so I got to see the whole ep. I thought it was cool. And somewhere on the internet I know I posted something along the lines of….”i cant decide if I think the guy playing Sherlock is attractive or not”. His eyes were a bit odd but you know…I still kinda liked him. lol!<\/p>\n

Anyways I watched all 3 eps and liked it. Promptly forgot about it, got into other fandoms, etcetc.<\/p>\n

Anyways so during the XMFC fandom and my descent into madness on Tumblr that has yet to abate, lots of people I followed were into Sherlock…but around 6 months ago the main thing I saw on my dash were these pics of Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock if you dont know) from the set of the show – and he is running and pulling this silly face.<\/p>\n

And people obviously thought it was funny and started doing silly posts like this one<\/a> which included some lovely ‘additions’ to the image.<\/p>\n

Anyways – i am not sure on timeline coz its taken me ages (and the help of someone on tumblr to find an example)…but peeps started posting these silly pics of various actors (but usually ALWAYS including Benedict, Leonardo Dicaprio and David Tennant at the very least)….this is one that one of my Tumbrians helped me track down (coz you never see them anymore since Season 2 aired – i’m sad.)<\/p>\n

I found these all very amusing but I wasnt going batshit crazy over the show yet. It wasnt till peeps started getting excited towards the end of the year just before it Season 2 started airing that I myself got a bit excited for new Sherlock.<\/p>\n

Anyways I loved season 2. I thought Irene was awesome!!!!!!!!!! I have a mini-crush on Andrew Scott (Moriarty – seriously find a vid where he is just talking normally and listen…if you dont fall in love with his voice you’re cracked!). I cried like a baby both at the start and end of the last ep – sure I know its all good but like most things – I get emotionally wrapped up in the lives of fictional characters and an amazing actor can drag me in and have me blubbering in seconds…yes you shit Martin Freeman – i am talkinga bout you!!!!!!!
\nAnd yeah – I still think the Cumberbatch is cute….but I am not a Cumberbitch…yet (thats what his fangirls are called). I have collected a number of cumberbitch gifs though because they amuse me – case in point:

Oh yeah – that reminds me….I didnt notice til episode 2 of season 2 that Lestrade is played by Rupert Graves….who I have had a minor crush on since my early teens after seeing A Room With A View.
\nI was disgusted at myself and posted on tumblr “have i had a fangirl lobotomy or something that i didnt notice?’<\/p>\n

Anyways – fun times on Tumblr include watching people who like Sherlock but thought Benedict was just weird looking….suddenly BOOM!!!!!!! They are crazy about him and they cant explain why. I have watched a number of conversions now. Its always entertaining!<\/p>\n

Obviously if you know me – you know I probably ship Sherlock and John…seriously scroll through my tumblr for a bit…its clear as day! \ud83d\ude00

But I also ship the HELL out of Lestrade\/Molly!!!!!!!!

\nI loved his face when she removed her jacket in that scene….and he is staring at her ass…then realises and takes a swig from his glass coz ‘damnit greg – you’ve just reconciled with your wife – STOP!’ LOL!<\/p>\n

\nOne of my fave fanfic writers wrote this epic…and i MEAN EPIC Lestrade\/molly fic<\/a> (I originally started following her because she was writing this awesome AU Erik\/Charles story that was seriously popular…but she then lost interest. BUT THEN she wrote this amazing Tony\/Steve fic based on the scene where they dont seem to like each other too much in the first Avengers trailer….if you look around you will find my Tony\/Steve fangirling post that probably mentions it there too). I was already there but that was the clincher!!!!!!!!!! OMGAAAAAAAAAWD!!!!!!!!!!!!

i love looking at Sherlock fanart that gets posted on tumblr…but reading fanfic? I only really want Molly and Greg. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

So yeah – if you notice my tumblr posts on the sidebar…there is a LOT of Sherlock stuff atm. You might even think I’m a Cumberbitch….but generally I am posting for my friends or in reply to my friends. \ud83d\ude00
\nI also have a gif reactions tumblr (where most of these animated gifs are blogged) and its ridiculously Sherlocked right now. It may even be beating my Fassavoy gifs in the numbers now. HOW RUDE!!!!!!!!!!<\/p>\n

Anyways – I think I have conveyed that I kind of like Sherlock….do you agree? I am sooo hanging out for the next season. \ud83d\ude41 I look forward to John decking, then snogging Sherlock when he realises he’s fine. Yeah….maybe not the snogging – they wouldnt be that nice to me! \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

Also – okay I was waaay into Lord of the Rings. And I am excited about The Hobbit because RICHARD ARMITAGE!!!!!!!!!!!! But yeah – lil Martin Freeman is so cute as Bilbo! AND they are giving me more Cumbers!<\/p>\n

\nAND Star Trek! New movie will have Cumbers!!!!!! OMGAWD! FANGIRL ANEURYSM IMMINENT!!!!!!!!<\/p>\n
