It must have been announced just after I left the house.<\/p>\n<p>I always hoped Whitney would be able to get back on the right track and have a long life. I am so sad it hasnt happened. Her poor daughter, and the rest of her family. I just want to cry.<\/p>\n<p>Its probably not cool but I honestly dont care. I have been a fan of Whitney since I was a kid. She was one of the artists who was big when I first started getting into popular music on my own (as opposed to whatever stuff my parents chose to listen to).<\/p>\n<p>Her 80s stuff is still my favourite era.<br \/>\nI went through major obsessions loving these songs as a kid:<\/p>\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eH3giaIzONA?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0YjSHbA6HQQ?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/IYzlVDlE72w?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n(gawd me and my friends need to do a Whitney karaoke day&#8230;once i can get past the urge to cry when i hear ANY of her songs right now).<\/p>\n<p>I fell in love with these songs years later:<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/i_4PlM85NJo?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7nqVWm2XTjY?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>And man this song was at number one forever in Australia but i still loved it but I cant even listen to it today. Give it a try&#8230;see if you start sobbing or not&#8230;I cant even hear the opening bars&#8230;<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3JWTaaS7LdU?rel=0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>RIP Whitney. Your amazing voice may have been lost years ago but you could have done so much as a producer of new talent or something along those lines.
