Oops. I havent posted for a bit. Well some doll news – Dream of Doll<\/a> (the company I got my first ever bjd from) announced an event running from Dec 15-30. There were 3 parts to the event but the one that interested me was if you bought ANY DOD doll you would get a free event head. The event head was a Tender Lahoo.<\/p>\n

For those not in the bjd know – Tender at DOD means they have hooded eyes. Those not in the Rebecca-know – Lahoo is the first ever doll that screamed to my brain ‘YOU MUST BUY ME!’ and that i actually did, so i have a slight obsession with that particular doll mold. So of COURSE I had to get him! But then came the dilemma of did I have enough for a whole doll to get him. Well I did in my savings that I was trying not to touch – but I gave in so I WILL get the event head. I am really happy. So pictures:<\/p>\n

\nThis is the Tender Lahoo – you only get his head. I may need to buy a new body for him rather than use my old one as DOD have changed resins since I got my Lahoo last year. I am getting the same face up (non-bjd folk – thats the make up that makes him look more lifelike) as the picture.<\/p>\n

\nThis is Twin-B. Default he comes as a boy but you can choose on the site for him to come as a girl and that was what I chose. The first time I saw him I thought he WAS a girl so I was bummed when I realised he was a boy doll….then at the event I was checking out all of DODs DOC dolls (Lahoo is a DOT = Dream of Teenager and is 64cm, DOC = Dream of Child and are around 43cm) because they are the cheapest ones available. When I was looking at the Twin B page and saw you could get him as a boy I was stoked!!!!!!!! I am getting the default face up for her also.<\/p>\n

My Minisup still hasnt arrived yet. I check my email every day for a shipping notice…and watch the relevant threads on DOA for any news about the shipments reaching Catrina in the states. I am just a little obsessed here.
\nMy Lahoo spoiled me so bad – I paid for him and exactly a MONTH from the date I paid he shipped from Korea…..so I dont take any doll waits longer than a month well….<\/p>\n
