Sorry to neglect you dear blog.
\nI never did post on here about the brilliance that was the second SoCo show. My memories are not as clear…but then if I had posted after getting home there would have been much incoherent rambling.<\/p>\n
Highlight memories include asking Bob Anderson (the replacement guitarist for William Tell) if he was a permanent member of the band while the opening act was on. I will quote from my lj:
\nhe said no. then i said i couldnt wait for them to play and he said ‘me too’ but then gestured to the bottle of beer he was drinking and said he’d had a few of them so it might be ‘interesting’. ^o^<\/i>
\ni got tears in my eyes during Konstantine. I was stoked they played I Woke Up In a Car because i hadnt seen it on any of the set lists i had found around the place and it had become obe of my faves the day before.
\nAfter the show Andrew came out for a meet and greet – i was already staking out the hallway he came down because thats where i had first seen Bob before the show and I was hoping ANY of them would comeout so I got my cd covers signed as the crowds began to swarm!
\nooh – another important quote from the lj:
\nhaha – at the end of Punk Rock Princess (the last song) Andrew dived into the audience and for a while he was floating on top but then he sank into the crowd and when i saw him again there were people hugging the guy to death and they looked like they werent gonna let go. man it was funny. finally one of their roadie dudes (he had dreads if anyone knows him) pulled him out and he staggerd off the stage while the rest of the band bashed at their instruments a bit for a nice and noisy finish. ^o^ <\/i><\/p>\n
anyways – that was a week and a half ago. on the friday (25th) I got sick and left work early. i hibernated in my room and didnt eat much on the weekend so i thought i was okay for work on monday….till i got on the train and started getting EVIL EVIL stomach pains. i tried to ride it out but i almost threw up 3 times before we hit Penristh so i got out there and came home. also had Tuesday off. I wanted<\/b> to stay home on Wednesday too, and after a really bad time in the wee hours of Thursday morn’ i wanted to stay home then too but i forced myself into work both days.
\nwas feeling better by Friday. thankfully. It was one of my friends – mariana’s – last day. I am gonna miss her heaps! Another friend is leaving at the end of this week because she is having a baby in 5 weeks, and ANOTHER friend is leaving in a few months to start her own business. I feel quite depressed.<\/p>\n
Anyways, I was good – I spent the wee hours of this morning updating all my fanlists. Last time I updated them was in May. >.< \n\n\n\nI dont know what else to report. So I guess I will shut up.\n<\/p>\n
