* i havent slept in my bed since sunday. feeling sore and tired still.
\n* my room is virtually empty after a disaster on tuesday nite. so sad.
\n* i got home at 10 to 12 last night
\n* i am fricking starving<\/p>\n
apart from monday nite when i went back to the parents after tafe, the reason i havent spelt in my bed relates to point two. <\/p>\n
you know how washing machines have a hose that the water drains out of? generally it goes into a thing that goes behind the laundry sink so you dont have to worry about it. it seems OUR sink doesnt have one of those holes, so tuesday nite the cous did a load of washing and while we were watching tv it fell out of the sink onto the floor and commenced Operation Flood 2003.
\nwe were sitting down to eat dinner and i dashed off to my room because i wanted a cushion to rest my plate on (we were not eating at the table because that is SO uncool man!!!! ^-^) when i discovered the unfolding disaster. water had flooded halfway down the hall and ALL THROUGH MY ROOM!!! almost every inch of carpet in my room was soaked – in some places it was soaked so much the water was actually above the carpet, not just soaked into it. I WAS FREAKING because my computer was on. ARGH! just thinking about the double horror – my computer being killed or getting electrocuted by the power cordfs in the water… T.T
\nthankfully that didnt happen though.
\nso we FREAKED.
\nwe used every towel, sheet, some big blankets and most of our clothing to try and soak it up. we dryed some stuff a few times because there was just sooooo much water! it was the evil! floor is still damp a bit today.
\ncous wants to not get it steam cleaned till it actually starts smelling but i think it might be safer to do it now as a preventative measure. she isnt the one who will have to sleep in that smell. and i dont want to drag all my furniture back in there to have to drag it out again in a few months.<\/p>\n
anyways – i stayed home from work yesterday to try and continue the soak-up process. gave me time to do my japanese homework at least…..and i was the only one who did it….. T.T
\nwent to class and then came home to ashfield…didnt get home till 11:50-something…………………>.<\n\n\n\nand i want food damnit! last thing i ate was a tomato sandwich last nite.\n<\/p>\n
