went and saw star wars ep 2 again.<\/p>\n
some thoughts and observations. to start with – my fellow cinema goers. as i was leaving the cinema i heard people talking about what the believed is going to happen or what something in the film meant and it was so pathetic. i am sure there were some serious SW fans there but they were no where near me. i was clearly surrounded by MORONS!<\/p>\n
on the film – first off – that bar where Obi-wan and Anakin follow Jango’s buddy – was it just me but as Anakin and Obi-wan went there seperate ways – did Anakin lift his hand to someone slightly and sort of nod at them? and though they may have just been checking out a ‘hot guy’ (LOL!) i get the feeling quite a few people in that place knew Anakin kind of well. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
onwards – to the Qui-Gon Jinn weirdness that seems to be a hot topic. dont read if you havent seen and dont want any spoilers.
\ni spotted it this time! Anyways the explaination of where it happened that i got was totally crap so here is where to look if you missed it. This is assuming you’ve seen it once at least so you know where to start looking.
\nPadme and Anakin are on Tatooine and Anakin is about to go after his mother. Padme comes out from underground in the sunset (ala Luke in ep 4) and speaks to Anakin – you get a shot of their shadows against the building and Anakins cloak and the way his little ponytail sticks out makes his shadow look like Vader is standing there. most nifty. they hug and he rides off.
\nthen when Anakin leaves the tent where his mother has just died and starts killing the Sand People as it cuts away to Yoda meditating (and Mace walks in and Yoda tells him something awful has happened to Anakin) there is a lot of noise but you hear a voice shouting ‘Anakin! Anakin!” which is distinctly Qui-Gon Jinn(others have said he yells “No Anakin, no” but i have only caught it once and thats what it sounded like to me). COOL! i also read that at that point you also heard the sound of Vader breathing but if thats the case i missed it. oh well – will just have to go again. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
