while i love the rain over the nasty summer heat, its days like today<\/a> that make me glad that umbrellas were invented.<\/p>\n

did i have this blog when the Great Soaking Tragedy of 2000 occured? i forget. well the story is – i left home without an umbrella and it had been fine were i live – but when i got to Central it was very cloudy and there was a bit of a sprinkle of rain. i changed trains to go to Town Hall and when i went outside it was pissing down. i had no umbrella – i had to walk from the mcdonalds near Town Hall to Darling Park. i got sooooooooo drenched. and to top it all off – when i went in the building and got to my desk the rain had stopped completely.<\/p>\n

oh – and there was a second Great Soaking Tragedy last year too. when i went to see the Million Dollar Hotel. when i walked to the cinemas it was bucketing down and if i didnt go i would miss the film so i got throughly soaked. so i am sitting in the cinema drenched, water dripping off me. for the whole film i am soaked through. then when i come out the rain has cleared, in fact the streets are dry and it looks like it didnt even rain. and i was still wet.<\/p>\n

i have all the luck man! anyways – today i had my trusty brolly and only from the knees down am i soaked. yay me.<\/p>\n

anyways, time to work \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
