I dont know any more about Dale Begg-Smith than you guys but the way he was talking after he won the silver was EXACTLY how he spoke when he won gold at the last olympics. SO he's not super chatty, he doesnt go in for the excessive wankery you guys seem to love and which makes me sick and HATE to watch sports shows or the sports segments in news. Leave the guy alone already. he got a fricking medal! A silver! HAVE YOU GOT A FUCKING OLYMPIC MEDAL ARSEHOLES????????????

I also cant stand channel 9s olympic coverage shit at night. i LOATHE Eddie MacGuire and they way he goes on about crap. gawd i wanna slap him. i avoid watching channel 9 as much as possible but if i wanna see some olympic stuff i HAVE to watch. is a cruel fate! i dont wanna spend hours streaming stuff off the internet. but maybe i should just to stick it to Nine. :D

Decided to read this article after seeing the headline Smoke billows out over Sydney city centre coz YAY the city is burning to the ground!! (NOT) as long as it doesnta ffect the train line i care not. ANYWAYS so this article which MAY get edited between now and when anyone bothers to click te link says the following "Westfield have yet to comment on the fire or its possible cause. " BUT further up in the story it has already EXPLAINED what happned. Why do the building owners need to explain something you already know wankers????????????

I also love how smack dab in the middle it has a box saying "Do you know more? Email us at news@news.com.au with reports, tip-offs, and pictures or SMS to 0429 300 245 " - i see that shit on new sites or news shows and i just wanna yell 'do you're own work morons!!!!!!!!! like i am gonna help you! i got something news worthy i will blog that shit myself!' :D

Next week Sydney is gonna be inundated with Catholic kiddies and that ugly Pope guy for World Youth Day (i liked the last Pope better!). Much like the Olympics - I dont give a damn unless its gonna affect me getting to work - cant get the time off chums.
So I was a bit concerned about the news stories floating about that Cityrail staff were talking about striking on the busiest day.

Anyway, thankfully the threat worked and the govt have agreed to the union in questions demands and the strike is off, but omgawd some of the stories about this cracked me up so much. My fave was from the Daily Telegraph

The Rail, Tram and Bus Union yesterday exploited this fear to plot an all-out industrial war next Thursday - the day of the Pope's arrival and motorcade. The action would cripple the city. The Government has no contingency plan to cover the loss of train services and will today take legal action to stop the strike."

Writing with an agenda there much buddy? I means seriously what a WANKER!

But yeah the PM and the NSW State Premier plus of course the hysteria creating media were going off about it, about how the union were exploiting the situation. OF COURSE the union would use a big event like this to take a stand with - are you govt and media people STUPID?
The last few govts in this country have put such a chokehold on unions these days they usually cant demand shit. Its great to see one have a victory for once!

Oh my god people! GET OVER IT ALREADY! I have already lectured my workmates about this when we first received the magazine about a week and a half ago and they were all 'that is so wrong!'(shows how on the ball you news and govt morons are).

So recently there was a big drama in australia because this artist was exhibiting photos of a 13 year old girl with no top on. Now I didnt like the pictures myself BUT as long as her parents were fine with it and she didnt have a problem - whts the big deal? I dont THINK the artist was trying to be exploitive.
For me I found it uncomfortable because the girl looks like she is on the borderline of puberty so to me there is a bit of implied sexual connotation there. so yeah - I didnt like them but I am not gonna make a fuss.
SO anyways - obviously to stir up a bit of trouble Art Monthly Australia's latest issue has a picture of a much YOUNGER little girl on the cover. You can see part of her chest but there is NOTHING sexual about it at all!


GROW THE FUCK UP PEOPLE! If you are seeing something perverse in that picture there is something wrong WITH YOU!
