Anyhoo my PC is still broke. Still attempting to fulfill my net junkie needs on a mac. Deary me. I still havent seen the last ep of Spooks. This makes me sad!

Honestly - this isnt a Richard Armitage blog! It just so happens I feel like blogging about him quite a bit. :D

Anyways so I just watched ep 3 of Season 8 of Spooks. Now no spoilers apart from the fact that I started crying near the end y'all! More importantly what was up with the new tat on Lucas' wrist?? Am I totally blind and you guys have seen that sucker before or is this a real first sighting of it??

I may need to go back and watch every second of Season 7 again to check... :D

[edit] a few people on the AA forum went back and found a couple of scenes in season 7 were you can see that tat but its usually covered by his watch. Stupid watch wearing spy! :D

I really should have done a quick screencap of it coz it was pretty excitig - Lucas has his shirt off next ep. Thanks Spooks writers!

Anyways in non-Armitage blogging I am just gonna link this list of steampunk books here coz I LOVE the idea of steampunk but have really only read one book that would definately fit the category and I want to read more.
Bookmark it you say? Have you SEEN my bookmarks?? I can never find anything anymore. Or use Delicious? I always forget about it when it matters!

Also I spent an awfully long time reading various entries on this page today when i was checking up on my spelling and understanding of deus ex machina. I like how they name things.
And I have come to the conclusion that the Supernatural writers are giving the boys a Chekhov's Armoury made of obvious! And if its true i am VERY disappointed in them!

ARGH! I just noticed I had a bunch of new comments on recent posts. I turned the comment moderation off yesterday and just added the word verification thing instead.....BUT I forgot to turn on the notification emails that someone had commented (I would get them when I had comment moderation on). Well I have fixed it now. YAY! Its nice to know people are reading...even if it is only coz of RA! :D

Once I did though, I wasnt happy with what I had on my computer so I had to get out my Robin Hood dvds and do some screen grabs of my own. Oh so pretty!

Let me just say...if Richard chose to walk around for the rest of his days dressed like that, with the scruffy beard and the messy hair....I would STILL be swooning. Has he EVER looked more gorgeous? I dont think so! :D

So even though I was exhausted I stayed up and watched the first ep of season 8 of Spooks last night. I then watched it again to do some screencaps for my own amusement!
When I got home today and realised I hadnt made a plan for RA Photo Friday i was all ARGH! And I started looking through the caps....and i came up with this ridiculous lil story that went along with the caps i had chosen about how Lucas sees himself as a bit of a ladies man and stuff but it was taking forever SO I have decided to shelve that for another blog post coz i am too tired (after watching the ep twice i went tob ed and COULD NOT GO TO SLEEP..then i had to go to work..and now i am still up! IDIOT!) to do all the extra html to make it work how i want so i will leave you with a few lil screen grabs from the ep as my contribution to RA Photo Friday and I will post my dorktastic story another day!

Yay! Go me! Instead of posting this as Friday almost finishes, I am posting as Friday starts!

So inspired by Lucas in Spooks in the ep where lil Ben goes undercover in the terrorist group, I was thinking wouldnt it be fun to see if there were pics of RA counting with his fingers. A week and a half at the Armitage Army and I finally found the one pic I needed to complete my quest (I havent seen the Sparkhouse yet). Behold!!







Admittedly the Sparkhouse pic was a bit of a stretch but I was so set on my picture theme that I was ready to accept ANYTHING...I even considered committing gross acts of photoshopery on Richards person to make it work. Instead I have a super gooftastic pic to use! HURRAH!

Anyhoo - Harry is pretty swoontastic choice for #1 but it was a tough coz I had options...check out this yummy pic I could have had as #1.

Seriously - in that pic he looks a bit like the guy who plays Harry in Silent Witness a few seasons back with the scruffy hair...does anyone else see a resemblance??


Anyhoo - maybe I will make an animated gif on the weekend with these counting pics to amuse myself....

Its become my new random fascination! Okay its not so random. I have a thing about Jensen Ackles stuffing his gob in Supernatural also....but RA and food is a bit more rare.
My first moment of "HELL YES - I LOVE IT!" started with this great pic: that was posted in the galleries on this site from when teh Spooks crew were filming season 7 in Moscow. He looked so dorktastic.

I finally joined the Armitage Army forum this week and there is a thread there about RAs characters table manners. Lots of pics of RAs characters eating, drinking and more recently just random pics of RA and a table in the same shot.....lol! I tell you I love fandom where ever i find it!

Anyone who has been around for the life of this blog will know that while being supremely tragic and lame, such a thing is NOT unusual for me! Somewhere in the garage there are a box of other fandom figurines that Guy can hang out with if I get to bring him home.
Only disappointing thing is its NOT the figurine with the horse! Poor lil Guy will have to walk everywhere! :D

Shiny new interview with teh man....well actually its more the writer gushing over him. Which IS understandable but kinda cheesy!
I think RAs fans maye have gone into quiet meltdown that he is single again. I think they are al sad for lil Rich but wooyay hes back on the market.

I think this is my fave bit:

So even though I was rather poor about a month ago with (at the time) no prospects of earning more cash - I still felt the urge to waste half of my available funds on Richard stuff. Sorry Richard. I admit it....this is what I do when I get obsessed. At least I have spent less on you than I did on asian ball-jointed dolls. That was an expensive obsession I can tell you!

So apart from splurging on dvds i also orders some stuff from Book Depository - including 2 of the books Richard narrated - Sylvester (sooo cute!! the female voices he does makes me chuckle) and the Robin Hood one The Witchfinders .
I still havent listened to Witchfinders because even though its not from an actual season 3 episode - its set during it and I didnt want any spoilery stuff. But I imported it into iTunes to listen to whenever.
Now the lil site where iTunes retrieve tracknames from - the ones for Witchfinders are quite amusing....the track names I assume are the first few words said at the start of the file and there are some amusing typos (eg track 2 - Guy Woke The Next Day To The Sound Ove Hooves...) but I totally cracked up at the last track of the book (there are 2 more tracks which are a lil interview with The Man). Behold:


Yes I have a pervy yet juvenile brain so its probably amused me more than it should. But still I look forward to listening to Richard speak those words...i might make it a ring tone on my phone or something even! :D

So in my RA web browsing i found this fun blog - Richard Armitage Fanblog - i love reading it.
Most of the stuff on there isnt new news, but its just fun stuff talking about him and swooning over him and looking at some of the fun stuff thats out there.
Anyways they have this fun thing - photo Friday and I submit the above!
Its a screen cap from when he was interviewed on GMTV in the UK on March 25th this year. You cant watch the interview here - there is a version on youtube but it seems to have missed the start).

ANYWAYS - not counting the North & South/Gizzy/Lucas North wallpapers and livejournal userpics - this is the ONLY pic i have saved of him on my computer so far.

I know I have reached ludicrous speed when it comes to fangirling when i start a folder of pics of a person on my computer. So far i have avoided this with regards to RA, along with not joining any actual forums JUST about him...though i did join a Spooks one.
I would claim I havent lost the plot.....if it wasnt for the large number of dvds i have now acquired which feature him and the 2 audiobooks i bought that he reads. And also the squealing and dancing around the house last night when mum gave me the RH dvds could also be a clue. :D

JUST ADMIT IT REBECCA! Make the folder, join one of those forums. You've already lost it you moron!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways I dont know how long I shall continue my participation in this photo friday thing.....maybe as long as i check the RAfanblog on a daily basis? :D
