well i havent been online in a few days – what a travesty!

on monday i had my appointment with the specialist about getting contacts. i dont know if i mentioned it before but i need hard ones as opposed to the soft ones you can get. it’s damn weird! i wont actually get the contacts till next week sometime and then i have to be taught how to put them in myself and how to look after them – big fun!
then i will have to start out wearing them a couple of hours a day and build on that as i get more used to them. i am sure people with contacts are going big whoopdees but it’s a big deal to lil’ me. i have issues with objects near my eyes and now i will be sticking things in them on a daily basis. EEK!
