Oh my god people! GET OVER IT ALREADY! I have already lectured my workmates about this when we first received the magazine about a week and a half ago and they were all ‘that is so wrong!'(shows how on the ball you news and govt morons are).
So recently there was a big drama in australia because this artist was exhibiting photos of a 13 year old girl with no top on. Now I didnt like the pictures myself BUT as long as her parents were fine with it and she didnt have a problem – whts the big deal? I dont THINK the artist was trying to be exploitive.
For me I found it uncomfortable because the girl looks like she is on the borderline of puberty so to me there is a bit of implied sexual connotation there. so yeah – I didnt like them but I am not gonna make a fuss.
SO anyways – obviously to stir up a bit of trouble Art Monthly Australia’s latest issue has a picture of a much YOUNGER little girl on the cover. You can see part of her chest but there is NOTHING sexual about it at all!
GROW THE FUCK UP PEOPLE! If you are seeing something perverse in that picture there is something wrong WITH YOU!
