first the whinge – the cinema asked all the normal patrons to be seated by 7pm so the film could start at 7:30, so we didnt get to wait outside to see the celebs arriving and the stars didnt show up for ages anyways so we waited for over an hour later than the planned time for the film to start before the stars who were there (Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan and Hugo Weaving) and because my friends wanted to sit up near the back we could barely see them….i was so annoyed! and because we payed so much i wondered if we were perhaps supposed to go to the after show party thing but the turds at the cinema entrance took our tickets (and they had no idea what was going on either – some of them were telling us to go one cinema and then another lot told us to go to another…it was so stupid!) so even we were meant to go we couldnt have got in anyways.

the good stuff – the film is FAN-BLOODY-TASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone was amazing. I knew I would love Viggo as Aragorn but man……..i really have no words!
and all the hobbits! i love when there are fights and even though they are thse little guys they all pull out a sword and are ready to fight. you just wanna grab them and hug them to bits! well i do. 🙂
i really hope i get to go see it again on Boxing Day. i wont have anyone around to give me a lift so i guess i better save some cash today when we do the final round of christmas shopping so i can get a cab. i so need to see it again.
i love the Shire. it looked so lovely in pictures but it was so great to see it and then go into Bilbo and Frodo’s house. i’ve always wanted to live in a hobbits house!!! ooh – and there is a bit where the fellowship is travelling in boats down a river and Aragorn wakes Frodo up to show him these huge statues on either side and it just looked amazing.
i could go on about everyone in the film, it would be so easy…but they were all wonderful. trust me on this. if you havent seen it – go. it’s just a wonderful film. thank you Peter Jackson. you havent let the fans down.

anyways i will probably add more to this entry as i think of more stuff.
