if any of my friends were wondering why i wasnt online last nite (though with my sporadic net usage of late i kinda doubt it) this would be why. i went to Penrith yesterday after lunch and bought a couple of things and then went to see a movie (Enigma….okay film – reminded me of how cute Dougray Scott can be) and while I was there the emergency exits were howling a bit from the wind outside so i figured it must have been some strong winds. before the flick came on a girl came in and told us there had been some power surges and apologised for the film starting late.
anyways – when i finally got home the power was out! yippee! and was till out when i left for work this morning….not so yippee!
but we did get to go out for dinner last nite – to a yummy thai restaurant! my favourite bit was my entree. i forget what was in it other than crushed peanuts but DAMN IT WAS GOOD!
