the Madonna concert that was on HBO was aired on Channel 9 last nite in oz. my sister is a madonna fiend and taped it at her boyfriends house, and i watched it at home. there has been no word about Mad’s bringing the tour to Oz which completely sucks!!!!! anyways – it was a pretty cool concert – though i didnt like some of the outfits – especially the first one – made me thing hillbilly punk or something. i liked the geisha girl look and the sorta-spanish look.

i heard or read something about madonna insisting they do rehearsals every day, but i think the concert had a much looser feel to it than the Blonde Ambition tour….we used to have a video of a concert done in Spain for that tour and it was FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! me and emma used to watch it all the time!!

anyhoo – does anyone know what anime film or films was playing in the interlude bit that had the english version of ‘what it feels like for a girl’ playing? i know i havent watched whatever it was but maybe i have seen bits of it elsewhere because some of it looked familiar. i’m surprised channel 9 didnt cut that out – they go a bit overboard with censoring most stuff. you should have seen Blade the other week….it was like half the film wasnt there.
